Engineering magic

Make the imagined real.

A veteran-owned product studio. We build and launch our own software, and team up with other builders to bring their web and mobile apps to life. You own the vision; we're the build.

You own the vision. We're the build.

// you have an idea

From the top of your head into reality.

No technical co-founder, no finished spec. Just the will to build it. We take it from a sketch to a launched web or mobile app.

The custom app your business deserves.

A booking app, an online store, a customer portal. We build around how your business actually runs.

You work with the people who actually build it. Jose is the spark. Rafael is the vehicle.

THE VEHICLE — OPERATIONS & STRATEGY

Rafael Bejaran

Rafael is personally accountable for your build, and he's the same person who scoped it. He learned that ownership in the Navy: safety-of-flight radar on aircraft carriers and fleet-wide operational readiness across the 2nd, 5th, and 7th Fleets, where failure was never just a ticket.

Off the clock, his side projects have a habit of becoming his life. One Ethereum mining rig became many, until he'd filled a friend's entire house with GPU clusters, and that's what pulled him into Web3, where he ran token sales, smart contracts, and RWA tokenization and learned the thing that powers everything we build: how a real community forms around a product. Years later, an AI app he was tinkering with turned into Bunshin.

PMP- and CSM-certified, he keeps every build on track and knows in his bones what makes a product worth gathering around.

THE SPARK — TECHNOLOGY & ARCHITECTURE

Jose Diaz

Jose can't propose a solution without building it first. Hand him a set of requirements and he's already making it real, so the rest of us have learned to keep him at bay until we're sure we want the thing, because once the idea lands there's no stopping him.

That compulsion runs on nearly fifteen years in software's least forgiving corners: AT&T, Assurant, Talen Energy's Susquehanna nuclear plant, and a 100% HIPAA-compliant health-records migration at Jefferson Health, places where a missed detail isn't a bug ticket, it's a real-world failure. Compliance-grade engineering is his baseline, not an upgrade.

He's the spark, the one whose ideas become our products, and at Bunshin every line of production code passes through his review. The free spirit and the nuclear-grade engineer are the same person, and that's exactly why the things he ships hold up.

Our standard

“Failure never shows up on the spot. It shows up later, in operation, at inconvenient moments, at high cost.

We learned it in environments where the stakes made it true: nuclear power operations, naval fleet readiness, health systems, financial infrastructure. A practice owner who cannot afford a compliance failure, a prime contractor where a missed requirement does not get a do-over, a business whose growth has lapped its infrastructure. None of them can afford to find out what was skipped six months after go-live. Every step we take is non-negotiable, because the ones that get skipped are the ones that come back.

How a build works

01

Tell us what you're building

A conversation, not paperwork. No sales call, no pressure.

02

We define the MVP together

We strip the idea down to the functionality that actually delivers the value. That core ships first.

03

We build and launch the core

Real, working software in front of real people, fast. You own the vision the whole way.

04

Then the bells and whistles

Once the core proves out, we layer on everything else, deliberately.

Questions builders ask

See every question →

Can you build an app from just an idea? I don't have a technical co-founder.

Absolutely, that's our favorite way to start. You don't need a co-founder, a spec, or a single line of code, just the idea and the conviction to build it. Our own products began exactly that way, and we'll take yours from a sketch in your head to a launched web or mobile app.

How much does it cost to build a custom app?

It depends on what you're building, so we don't post a one-size number that would be wrong for you. The honest version: after a short conversation about your vision, we come back with a clear, fixed price for the actual thing you want, and it costs nothing to find out. No hourly meters, no surprise change orders.

Do I own the app and the code you build?

Completely. Your product, your vision, your code, your call, start to finish. You're the owner the whole way; we're the build. Nothing locks you to us.

Who actually builds my product?

The senior people who scope it, directly. No juniors training on your dime, no account managers in between, amplified by our own AI agents so a focused studio ships like a much bigger one. You get Rafael and Jose, the same two who scope your build and ship it.

We're already living our dream. How can we help make yours come true?
